The number of treatments that you will need is also based on the severity of your problem. Some may require as little as 1 treatment to achieve their desired results, for others it may take up to 5 treatments.

Treatments can also be deeper, with more downtime, or shallower, with less. The deeper the treatment, the better the results generally. Some patients prefer to have more treatments that are not as deep so they can avoid downtime.

During the first 24 hours after treatment, your skin may feel warm, slightly tender, and sensitive.

You may also notice your skin appearing pink then turning brown and flaking off over 2-7 days, revealing new skin at the treated areas. This is normal and the extent depends on how intensive your treatment is.

Most people see good results and these continue to improve over time as the skin heals.

During this period, skin will feel smoother and look less blotchy. Eventually there would be fewer lines, smoother skin, and the removal of stretch marks and scars.
