Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), is light that is converted into heat energy for the purpose of skin rejuvenation. IPL is used for the purpose of skin rejuvenation and can quickly, safely and comfortably improve your skin’s texture, tone, and color. IPL treats sun-damaged skin, removes pigmented lesions, and diminishes redness caused by broken capillaries, with zero or low downtime.

SKN MediAesthetics utilises the latest Korean medical IPL technology that has been the treatment of choice for many in the know. Available only in selected medical clinics, this IPL treatment delivers predictable, effective, and safe results.

Any part of the face with uneven skin tone, diffuse redness, or pigmented areas can be safely treated.

IPL treatments are very safe. When performed correctly, complications, skin sensitivity, or thinning will not occur.

SKN MediAesthetics has many years of experience with medical-grade IPL treatments, and will customise the treatment according to your needs.

An IPL treatment delivers a series of gentle pulses of medical light onto the surface of your skin. Over several passes, these pulses of light target the skin to effectively eliminate redness, broken capillaries, pigmentation, sun damage, large pores, fine lines, and rosacea conditions. You will experience a slight sensation as the IPL passes over your skin. The sensation is very mild and easily tolerated.

Most patients achieve optimal results after 3-5 tailored treatments.

Your skin may look slightly flushed for up to 2 hours.

If you wish, you may apply powder or make-up right away.

Many patients see significant improvement even after the first treatment. Patients typically like our IPL treatments for the long lasting “glow” of clean, rejuvenated skin. Often fine facial hair is also removed from the treatment area.

Your skin will look healthier as sun damage, fine lines, pore size, and irregular pigmentation is treated.
