Thermage procedures can effectively and safely treat skin on most parts of the body, including the thighs, arms and abdomen where there is loose skin, especially after pregnancy.

Radiofrequency (RF) technology is used to safely heat the deep, collagen rich layers of the skin. The heat helps stimulate the formation of new collagen over time, which can reduce sagging, and improve the smoothness and texture of the skin.

At SKN MediAesthetics, we offer a wide range of minimally invasive and non-surgical body slimming and shaping procedures. It is essential to consult with Dr. Alvin Wong to help select the most appropriate treatment to address your specific concern.

Thermage is doctor performed and FDA approved for medical use. Over a million treatments have been performed by doctors in more than 80 countries and Thermage procedures have an excellent safety record.

A consultation with Dr Alvin Wong is essential to assess suitability.

During the treatment, you’ll feel a brief cooling sensation, followed by a deep but brief heating sensation, followed by another cooling sensation. The heating sensation is a sign that the deep layers of your skin are reaching effective temperatures for smoothing wrinkles, while the cooling sensation protects the surface of the skin and makes the procedure comfortable. Throughout the procedure, Dr Alvin will ask for feedback to balance comfort with results.

A Thermage treatment delivers results in a single treatment for most patients and would take 45-60 minutes.

There is zero or very little downtime, and no special care is needed after treatment.

Most patients return to their regular activities immediately.

For most people, some immediate results are usually visible and these will continue to improve over time. Results gradually appear in two to six months following a single treatment session.

Results can last years depending on your skin condition and aging process.
